News See An Obama-Eye-View of the President's Visit to Hamilton Among the photos posted on the official White House web page as part of its seventh annual feature "Behind the Lens: 2015 Year in Photographs" is a shot of the company of the Broadway musical Hamilton, taken during President Barack Obama's visit there July 18.

The official White House photo by Pete Souza is captioned "The President greets the cast and crew of Hamilton after seeing the play with his daughters at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City."

It shows the President on the stage, with the company arrayed on one of the set's staircases. Actor Javier Muñoz, the alternate for the role of Alexander Hamilton, who played the role at that performance, can be seen (in green) left of center.
