Renowned Shakespeare scholar Harold Bloom will appear on the Jan. 27 edition of "Theater Talk," the popular PBS show devoted to the world of the stage, hosted by Michael Riedel of The New York Post and Susan Haskins.

The colorful and talkative Bloom will occupy the entire program. Riedel and Haskins will discuss his recent best-seller, "Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human."

The show airs Jan. 27 at midnight, and will re-air on MetroArts Thirteen, Saturday, at 10 PM (check local Cablevision listings for time and channel); and Friday at 12:30 AM in Boston on WGBH. (Check local listings.)
