Running Dec. 14, 2008-Jan. 4, 2009, Green will debut a new program that "blends great Coward classics and some rediscovered comedy gems, unearthed from the British Library, with lesser-known work." Green will be joined by musical director and archivist David Shrubsole for the concerts that celebrate the late Coward's 109th birthday, which occurs Dec. 16.
Off-Broadway Green has directed Absolutely Fascinating, Cooking For Kings and Beau Brummel. Green appeared in the original West End productions of Sondheim's Follies, Passion and Sunday in the Park with George, and portrayed Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast and Whizzer in March of the Falsettos for London audiences.
