News Smokey Joe's Cafe Star to Offer Music and Comedy at Upstairs at Studio 54 Kim Cea, who co-starred in the Broadway production and the first national tour of Smokey Joe's Cafe, will bring her award-winning mix of song and comedy to Upstairs at Studio 54 Jan. 15.

Cea, who is also a 2003 MAC Award winner for Best Female Standup Comedy, will take to the stage of the intimate theatre at 10:30 PM. She will be joined onstage by musical director/pianist Tracy Stark. In addition to Smokey Joe's Cafe, Kim Cea appeared in the national tour of Fame: The Musical. Off-Broadway she has been seen in Newsical, Starmites, Fame Takes a Holiday, Finkel's Follies and CBS Live. Her screen credits include "The Guru," "Dominic and Eugene," "Gung Ho," "Lady Beware," "Law & Order" and "The News in Revue" (Emmy nomination). Cea was also recently the winner of the "Ladies of Laughter" contest at Madison Square Garden.
