In addition to the two announced main stage offerings, Long Wharf will also present 'Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3, which launches the summer season on Stage II July 8–Aug. 16.
Maripat Donovan penned the latest installment in the series, for which press notes state, "Sister is now offering up hilarious lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and the Last Rites, including her own wacky version of the 'Newlywed Game.'"
From July 14-26, Long Wharf will travel to a galaxy far, far away when Charles Ross performs his One Man Star Wars Trilogy. During the one-hour show, Ross reenacts all the characters, battles and sound effects from "Star Wars: A New Hope," "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."
The summer concludes with Steve Solomon's solo show, My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy, which will play Aug. 5-9 and return Aug. 19-30. Throughout the evening, Solomon "tells hilarious stories about his wacky family and the crazy characters he meets on the road who, it seems, have the sole purpose of driving him into therapy – something they manage with great success."
