Sondheim Unplugged launched at the Beechman last summer and features an array of cabaret and theatre performers, as well as special guest stars who appeared in the original cast or revivals of Sondheim's musicals. The performers are accompanied solely by piano. Original Sondheim cast members Ralston (A Little Night Music, Company), Rice (Sweeney Todd) and Golden (Assassins) will bejoined by Akers (Nine, Grand Hotel), Umphress (American Idiot), Christina Bianco, Harris Doran, Eric Michael Gillett, Steven Lutvak, Rob Maitner, Steve Ross and Gabrielle Stravelli.
Phil Geoffrey Bond will host the 7 PM concert. Joshua Stephen Kartes will serve as musical director.
