News Songwriters' Salon Cabaret Series Will Feature New Work From Composers Sept. 4 Write Act Rep presents The Songwriters' Salon – a cabaret series featuring composers and lyricists on the first Thursday of each month – with the next installment Sept. 4 at 7:30 PM.

According to press notes, "It's a casual and open playground for artists to meet and share new work." The evening will take place at the Celebrity Club at Times Square Arts Center (673 8th Avenue).

The Sept. 4 lineup will include music and lyrics from Timothy Huang, Michael Mott, Will Reynolds, Mark Sonnenblick and Ben Wexler; the evening will also have a special guest host – Kevin Spirtas (The Boy From Oz).

The Songwriters' Salon is conceived and directed by Colton Pometta.

Other perfomers will include Vanjah Alexander, Jennifer Blood, Brian Golub, Marissa McGowan, Adam Overett, Jacqueline Petroccia and Zachary Prince.

Tickets are $15.
