COSTA MESA, CA -- South Coast Rep has announced the cast for the premiere of Keith Reddin's new play But Not for Me, which opens opening Nov. 3 for a 5-week run. David Denman, Richard Doyle, Linda Gehringer, Dan Kern and Greg Stuhr are the featured players. David Emmes is the director. Reddin's play centers on the infamous electoral battle between Richard Nixon and Helen Gahaghan Douglas in 1950. Nixon's defeat of Douglas, in what many consider a dirty campaign, launched the future president's career.
Reddin's other works include Fortinbras, The Innocent's Crusade, Rum and Coke, Life During Wartime and Black Snow.
