Cabaret & Concert News Spider-Man and Penny Dreadful Star Reeve Carney Will Play New York City Concert The star of the Broadway-bound musical Hadestown will perform from his award-winning rock album Youth Is Wasted at Green Room 42.

Reeve Carney, the actor and indie-rock musician who starred as Peter Parker in Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, will play a September 12 concert at the Green Room 42.

The evening will include songs from Broadway and the Great American Songbook, as well as material from his award-winning album, Youth Is Wasted. Show time is 9:30 PM.

Known for his current role on Showtime's Penny Dreadful, Carney is set to star in the new musical Hadestown, which opens this fall at London’s National Theatre ahead of an anticipated Broadway arrival. He will also star in an upcoming biopic about the life and music of late indie-rocker Jeff Buckley.
