Tompkinson, who will play King Arthur, is best known for his TV roles in "Drop the Dead Donkey," "Ballykissangel," "Wild at Heart" and the current "DCI Banks." Theatre appearances have included Love's Labour’s Lost, Arsenic and Old Lace, Rattle of a Simple Man, Art and The Revengers Tragedy.
He is joined by Anna-Jane Casey as Lady of the Lake, with Todd Carty returning as Patsy (through Nov. 24 only).
Monty Python's Spamalot is written by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, and this production is directed by Christopher Luscombe. It is produced by Howard Panter for The Ambassador Theatre Group.
