News Still Loose: Tiernan Extends Engagement at Actors' Playhouse Acclaimed Irish comic Tommy Tiernan has extended his run at the Actors' Playhouse.

Tiernan, who began his run at the intimate theatre June 20, was originally scheduled to offer his comedic evenings through July 15. He will now appear at the Playhouse through July 29, although there will be no shows July 19 or 20. Show times are Wednesdays-Saturdays at 8 PM with a late show Saturdays at 11 PM. Tommy Tiernan won both the Perrier Award and the British Comedy Award for Best Stand-Up for his 1998 debut show. He has performed in Ireland, England, Australia, New Zealand, Montreal and Manhattan. He also hosted "The Stand Up Show" for BBC1, and his DVDs include "Tommy Tiernan Live," "Cracked" and "Loose."
