On the dark night of The Group Theatre's hit production of Keeper's of the Dream, the company offers up a reading of Luis Alfaro's dark comedy Straight As A Line, a fierce and funny vaudeville routine between a mother and her son who's dying of AIDS.
The Group often chooses part of its next season's slate from these readings. Playwright Alfaro's works have been produced by the company in the past, which indicates this one may have an inside track.
The reading takes place at The Group Theatre, in the lower level of the Seattle Center House in Seattle Center. Admsssion is free, but reservations are recommended as these events tend to sell out.
For reservations and more information call (206) 441-1299.
