Billy Stritch, who wrote Grammy-winning lyrics to Reba McEntire's "Does He Love You?" country hit, has composed the music for Lily & Lily, a musical comedy which will get a star-powered reading at Nola Studios (250 West 54th St.) March 26 and March 27 at 3 PM.

The Tony-winning Miss Adelaine from Broadway's last Guys and Dolls, Faith Prince, will have the title roles--one a fading movie star of the 1930s, the other her Bible-thumping twin sister who has swooped into Hollywood from Minnesota to save the actress's soul.

Prince will be receive some royal support from David (Titanic) Garrison, Marcia (Chicago) Lewis, Chuck (Beauty and the Beast) Wagner and Christopher (Triumph of Love) Sieber.

A frenetic farce, the play is a musical Americanization of a French hit by Barillet and Gredy, the duo who originally created Cactus Flower and 40 Carats. A couple of Marks will be the show's wordsmiths stateside: Mark Waldrop of When Pigs Fly has written lyrics to Stritch's music, and the book is by Mark Bramble of Barnum and 42nd Street.
