April 8, Deborah Gibson (Beauty and the Beast), Rue McClannahan (The Women, "Golden Girls"), Alix Korey (45 Seconds From Broadway) and Marc Kudisch (Throughly Modern Millie, The Scarlet Pimpernel) will go to the dogs — for the dogs of New York — at Studio 54's Upstairs space in a benefit for Stray From the Heart.

First there was the Bernadette Peters-Mary Tyler Moore baby, Broadway Barks. But theatrical animal lovers can't seem to help their furry friends enough. April 8, Deborah Gibson (Beauty and the Beast), Rue McClannahan (The Women, "Golden Girls"), Alix Korey (45 Seconds From Broadway) and Marc Kudisch (Throughly Modern Millie, The Scarlet Pimpernel) will go to the dogs — for the dogs of New York — at Studio 54's Upstairs space in a benefit for Stray From the Heart. April Nickell directs the starry cast who will only sing songs dedicated to dogs and their owners. Also participating are Heather MacRae, Mark Nadler, John Sloman, Cheryl Stern, Jamison Stern and Barbara Walsh.
