Dracula boasts choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, while The Masque of the Red Death was choreographed by artistic director Robert Weiss. Both ballets feature music by J. Mark Scearce and will be accompanied by live music conducted by Alfred E. Sturgis.
Taylor-Corbett based her production of Dracula on the Bram Stoker book, which caused a sensation when it was published in 1897. Weiss choreographed the Edgar Allen Poe tale in which "the personification of the Red Death arrives at a costume ball in a castle where the nobility are hiding in order to avoid contagion," according to press notes.
The production also features set design by Jeff A.R. Jones and costumes by David Heuvel.
