Back Stage will host a 6 PM viewing party at Bounce Sporting Club. There is no cover, and food and drink will be available. The Tony Awards will also be simulcast live to Times Square on Clear Channel’s SpectacolorHD screen beginning at 6 PM ET. Special guests from Broadway are expected. The annual event will be hosted by puppets Rod and Lucy from the 2004 Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q. Full audio and seating will be available starting at 6 PM in Duffy Square.
OUTSIDE NEW YORK CITY
The Actors Fund will throw its 16th annual Tony party at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Scott Bakula will host the 3:30 PM event that will honor Tony winner Jason Alexander. Actors' Equity, the recipient of a Special Tony in recognition of its centennial year, is sponsoring Tony Award viewing parties in Los Angeles and San Diego on June 10.
