The most Tony-nominated play in Broadway history will conclude its run July 15.
The revival of Tony Kushner’s two-part epic Angels in America holds the record for the most Tony-nominated production of a play in Broadway history with 11 nominations, winning Best Revival of a Play as well as awards for Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane. The production officially opened at Broadway’s Neil Simon Theatre March 25.
Directed by Tony Award winner Marianne Elliott (War Horse), the new production of Angels in America opened to critical acclaim at the National Theatre in May 2017 before transferring over to the Great White Way.
The two-part epic will end its historic run July 15.
