Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare (Take Me Out, Assassins) will appear as part of an "Out Professionals" presentation at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in New York City, May 3.

O'Hare won the 2003 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his portrayal in Richard Greenberg's Take Me Out. He has also appeared on Broadway in Major Barbara, Cabaret and Racing Demon. The actor currently appears at Broadway's Studio 54 reteaming with Take Me Out Tony Award-winning director Joe Mantello in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Assassins.

Assassins began performances March 31 opened on Broadway April 22. The musical theatrically retells the stories of the nine individuals who took aim at eight different presidents — the four successful and five attempted assassins. The stageshow filled with song anachronistically weaves together scenes wherein they all interact with one another.
