Presented by the Storefront, the short story by Phil Geoffrey Bond concerns a "seasoned actress, struggling to find her place in society as she arrives at a new stage in life. Set against the backdrop of New York City in the early 1990's, it's a story of survival and fame, and the odd relationship between the two." Joining Robbins on stage at the intimate theatre will be writer Bond, Brandon Cutrell, Peter Haas, Jeanne MacDonald, Marieann Meringolo, Carolyn Montgomery and Lennie Watts. The evening, which begins at 7 PM, will feature musical direction by Ray Fellman. Jana Robbins stoodby for both Valerie Harper and Michele Lee in Charles Busch’s The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife; she also co-starred in the play's national tour. Her other theatrical credits include roles in Good News, Romance/Romance, Crimes of the Heart, Gypsy, Footloose, Man of La Mancha, Zorba, Bye Bye Birdie and Cat On a Hot Tin Roof. Robbins was also recently seen on an episode of NBC-TV's "Law & Order."
