News Tamara Tunie Offers Yes, I Sing! at Feinstein's Beginning Oct. 31 Stage and screen star Tamara Tunie, who appeared on Broadway in the Denzel Washington Julius Caesar, plays a limited engagement at Feinstein's at Loews Regency beginning Oct. 31.

Tunie's new show, which is entitled Yes, I Sing!, will be presented through Nov. 3. The evenings of re-imagined show tunes and jazz standards feature musical direction by Mike Renzi.

“It’s time,” Tunie said in an earlier statement. “I missed singing. I missed performing in a nightclub. I grew up in Pittsburgh, and regularly, my parents would take us to the Holiday House Supper Club to see acts like Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn, Ben Vereen, Freda Payne, Stephanie Mills, and the Temptations, to name a few. I also want to be able to sing until the day I die! It makes me happy! And if you don't use it, you LOSE it!”

Tunie will be seen in Paramount’s "Flight," in which she co-stars opposite Denzel Washington. She is perhaps best known as Medical Examiner Melinda Warner on NBC’s long-running “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

The performance has a $30 cover charge with $50 premium seats available, in addition to a $25 food and beverage minimum.

The club is located at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street in New York City. For ticket reservations and club information, call (212) 339-4095 or visit Feinsteinsatloewsregency.com and TicketWeb.com.
