News Terence Stamp, Joanna Lumley and Nickolas Grace to Appear in Jermyn Street’s Royal Gala Terence Stamp, Joanna Lumley and British politician-turned-performer Gyles Brandreth will be among the guest presenters for the Jermyn Street Theatre’s Royal Gala on Sept. 11.

The event, to raise money for the fringe venue to replace its carpets and improve its air conditioning, will be held at London’s Criterion Theatre in the presence of Princess Michael of Kent. Nickolas Grace will host. Performers will include Issy Van Randwyck, Peter Polycarpou, Bonnie Langford, Liz Robertson, Clive Carter (who will also direct), Lorna Dallas, Jessica Martin, Moray Watson, Anne Rogers, Stefan Bednarczyk and the casts from Audacity, Nora Blake, Shout! and Helping Harry.

The gala will feature excerpts from shows seen at Jermyn Street over the past decade. The venue was once the changing rooms for the male staff of the Getti Restaurant.

Tickets still available cost between £25 and £100 (the most expensive ticket includes an invitation to the after-show party at the Criterion Theatre Long Bar). For more information, call (0)20 7287 3232.
