Directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Simeon's Gift), the Fats Waller musical revue began performances Aug. 5 and will continue through Aug. 31. In addition to Smith (Les Miserables) and Weaver (Children of Eden), the cast also features Monica Patton (Little Ham), Aurelia Williams (TUTS' Dreamgirls) and James Alexander (A Brief History of White Music).

Conceived by Richard Maltby, Jr., the nostalgic revue includes the Fats Waller hits "Squeeze Me," "I've Got a Feeling I'm Falling," "The Joint Is Jumpin'," "Mean to Me," "Your Feets to Big," "Keepin' Out of Mischief Now," "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter" and the title song.

The creative team includes Jim Weaver (associate choreographer), William Foster McDaniel (musical direction), James Noone (set design), Kirk Bookman (lighting design), Emilio Sosa (costume design), Tony Melfa (sound design) and Kathy Fabian (prop design).
