PlayBlog The Judy Show's Leading Lady, Judy Gold, Answers Fans Questions (Video) Emmy winner and comic Judy Gold, who currently stars in Off-Broadway's The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom, was recently named a Givenik Ambassador, joining Joel Grey (Anything Goes), Reeve Carney (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark) and Rory O’Malley (The Book of Mormon). Here, the comic and newest ambassador answers a few of her favorite fan questions.

Gold talks about how her family feels about being included in her comedy sketches, performing in theatre versus performing in stand up, and her thoughts on marriage equality.

Her Off-Broadway show, according to press notes, offers a "hilarious look at [Gold's] life through the lens of the classic sitcoms of her youth. With multimedia, original music, laughter, and love, Judy shows us how she balances family and ambition with a little help from our favorite TV shows of the Seventies, Eighties, and Nineties."

The Judy Show officially opened at the DR2 Theatre July 6 and will play a limited engagement through Sept. 10.
