Lunchtime at NY's Sardi's Restaurant today, Feb. 17, will have a very feminine touch -- the Actor's Fund is holding its annual "Celebrate The Women" gathering, raising donations for the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. Expected are Marcia Lewis (Chicago), Betty Buckley (Triumph of Love), Linda Lavin (The Diary of Anne Frank) and Rita Moreno, with Jekyll & Hyde star Christiane Noll to sing at the event.
According to spokesperson Max Eisen, the Women's Health Initiative raises funding to combat such struggles as ovarian cancer, HIV/AIDS and substance abuse.
