The 7:30 PM reading will benefit the productions and artistic programming of Forum's 2011-12 season.

Directed by Jeremy Skidmore, the cast will feature Will Gartshore (Parade), Holly Twyford, Mitchell Hébert, J. Fred Shiffman, Karl Miller, Gregory Gallhager, Jason Lott, Tim Getman, Rick Hammerly and Chris Dinolfo.

Here's how Forum bills the show: "The story of a city in denial, The Normal Heart unfolds like a real-life political thriller: a tight-knit group of friends refuses to let doctors, politicians, and the press bury the truth of an unspoken epidemic. A quarter-century after it was written, this outrageous, unflinching, and unforgettable look at the sexual politics of New York during the AIDS crisis remains one of the theatre’s most powerful statements."

The Forum Theatre is located at 8641 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD. For more information and tickets, call  (240) 644-1390 or visit www.forum-theatre.org.
