Weiner reworked the "Empire State of Mind" lyrics to fit into the "Boardwalk Empire" theme. Morse plays Keys in the video that was shot on the "Boardwalk Empire" set and directed by Ed McGinty, a writer of the HBO series.

"Boardwalk Empire," from creator Terence Winter, is set in Atlantic City at the dawn of Prohibition, when the sale of alcohol became illegal throughout the United States.
