News   THE SCREENING ROOM: Our Favorite "Glee" Show-Tune Covers (Video) takes a look back at previous seasons of "Glee" and select performances of songs from Broadway productions.


"Maybe This Time" from Cabaret featuring Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth: In the first season of "Glee," Chenoweth made her first guest-starring appearance as April Rhodes. In the Cabaret cover, the Tony winner sings with Lea Michele (Rachel Berry).

"Defying Gravity" from Wicked featuring Michele (Rachel Berry) and Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel): Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel face-off for the "Defying Gravity" solo. Although the song is written for a woman, Kurt was not scared to go toe-to-toe with Rachel for the opportunity to sing his favorite song.

"And I Am Telling You" from Dreamgirls featuring Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones): Riley was made for this song!

"Don't Rain on My Parade" from Funny Girl featuring Michele: Rachel belted out the show-stopping Funny Girl number during a New Directions competition. Michele reprised her performance of "Don't Rain on My Parade" at the 2010 Tony Awards.

Highlights from the Rocky Horror-themed "Glee" episode: The McKinley High students took on the cult-favorite musical, performing the Rocky classics "Time Warp," "Science Fiction / Double Feature" and "Dammit Janet."

Highlights from the "The Substitute" episode: Choreographer Zach Woodlee shared the inside scoop on the dance moves behind the songs from the movie musical Singin' in the Rain, including "Make Em Laugh" and the mashup of "Singin' in the Rain" and "Umbrella."

"Take Me Or Leave Me" from Rent featuring Michele and Riley: Since Rachel and Mercedes tend to butt heads at times, they sang the Rent staple—a classic argument between the show's Maureen and Joanne.

"Dancing Queen" from Mamma Mia!: At the McKinley High prom, Kurt (Colfer)  took the title of Prom Queen. Although he was, at first, offended, he  accepted the crown with a smile and danced to the ABBA song with boyfriend Blaine (Darren Criss).

"For Good" from Wicked featuring Colfer and Michele: When the New Directions  visited New York City for a "Glee" season finale, Rachel and Kurt snuck onto the stage of the Gershwin Theatre to perform the Wicked duet.
