News THE SCREENING ROOM: Tony Winner Idina Menzel Chats About New PBS Concert (Video) Idina Menzel, who took home the Tony Award for her performance as Elphaba in the Broadway musical Wicked, recently chatted about her concert "Barefoot at the Symphony," which made its television debut on Chicago's PBS affiliate WTTW Jan. 9.

The concert also features Menzel's husband, Taye Diggs, and composer/conductor Marvin Hamlisch. The concert will begin airing on PBS stations around the country March 3; check local listings.

Menzel, who currently stars on the Fox hit series "Glee," has also been seen on the Broadway stage as Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent as well as Amneris in Aida. Her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, the Public Theater's See What I Wanna See and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel's screen credits include "Ask the Dust," "Rent" and "Enchanted."
