Rice will discuss his many theatrical creations, including Chess, which will be seen at London's Royal Albert Hall May 12-13. This episode of "Theater Talk" will air at 12:30 AM ET on WNET/Thirteen. With Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice penned the lyrics for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita. Rice also wrote the lyrics for such musicals as Blondel, Chess, The Lion King, King David and Aida. He also contributed additional lyrics to Beauty and the Beast.
