The New York theatre community will commemorate the anniversary of Sept. 11 with three-day benefit performance, reported the New York Times. The event, called "Brave New World," will feature more than 70 playwrights, directors and actors, including Stephen Sondheim, John Guare, Stockard Channing, Christopher Durang, Tina Howe, Billy Crudup, Sigourney Weaver, Lloyd Richards and Vanessa Williams.
The event will feature plays and songs. All proceeds will benefit the New York Childrens Foundation.
