Bernadette Peters, Laurie Beechman and the Broadway casts of Chicago and Bring in 'Da Noise/ Bring in 'Da Funk are scheduled to perform today, Sunday, Jan. 19 in Washington D.C. As part of the Gala saluting President Bill Clinton's second inauguration.
They will be on a bill with Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Yo-Yo Ma and Mikhail Baryshnikov who will perform starting 5 PM (ET), but CBS-TV is scheduled to broadcast the event on tape, 9-11 PM (ET). Clinton's inauguration ceremony is Jan. 20.
Artistic Director David Saint is directing the Jonathan Larson musical at the New Jersey company.
