The Poisson Rouge engagement reunites much of the original cast of Things to Ruin, who performed in the work during its Second Stage and Zipper Factory runs in 2009. In addition to the 10 PM Feb. 28 performance, shows are also scheduled for March 7 (7:30 PM); and March 20 and 28 (both at 10:30 PM).

Iconis joins Blaemire and Dideriksen, as well as Ian Kagey, Eric William Morris, Mike Pettry, Lance Rubin, Ben Arons and Jason "Sweet Tooth" Williams.

Original director John Simpkins and musical director Matt Hinkley also reunite for the latest incarnation. Ghostlight Records (which released the two-CD cast album of Things to Ruin) and Sara Mercer present the concerts.

Things to Ruin promises songs "about human beings who are messy, emotional, drugged up, knocked down, inspired, electric and who don’t have nearly enough time to cause the kind of commotion they so desperately need to."

Edward Kleban and Jonathan Larson Award winner Iconis has penned ReWrite, The Black Suits, Plastic, Triumphant Baby and The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks.

Here's a look at Iconis and company recording the album in February.
