The SIX writers have penned a musical about two perpetually single friends.

SIX creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss' new musical Why Am I So Single? will have a workshop presentation at the Lilian Baylis Studio Theatre at Sadler's Wells in London September 6–10.

The musical concerns two perpetually single friends who can't figure out why they're so single or what to write their next musical about. The cast, according to WestEndBestFriend, will include Christina Bennington, Jemima Brown, Josh Butler, Joe Foster, DeAngelo Jones, Tilly LaBelle Yengo, Owen McHugh, Millie O’Connell, Caitlin Redpath, Noah Thomas, Rhys Wilkinson, and Charlotte Wilmott.

Moss will also direct the work, which will feature choreography by Ellen Kane, orchestrations, vocal arrangements, and musical supervision by Joe Beighton, sound design by Paul Gatehouse, casting by Will Burton, and musical direction by Yutong Zhang. 

Kenny Wax, George Stiles, and Ameena Hamid produce the developing new musical.

The international hit musical Six continues on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre.
