On Dec. 8 "Today Show" host Meredith Vieira will explore the world of Shrek with actors Brian d'Arcy James (Shrek) and John Tartaglia (Pinocchio) and director Jason Moore. The segment is scheduled to air during the 8:30-9 AM half-hour.
On Dec. 9 Shrek stars Sutton Foster, Marissa O'Donnell and Leah Greenhaus will perform "I Know It's Today" live during the 8:30-9 AM half-hour.
"The Today Show" airs in the New York metropolitan area on NBC, Channel 4; check local listings.
Shrek will officially open Dec. 14 at the Broadway, 1681 Broadway at 53rd Street.
