The 2011 Tony Awards had an average viewership of 6.950 million.
ABC, which aired "Secret Millionaire" and "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition," won the night in adults ages 18-49. Despite the low Tony Awards rating, CBS won the evening in total viewers.

Neil Patrick Harris hosted the annual Tony ceremony, which was broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre.
