News Tony n' Tina's Wedding to Resume Under Actors' Equity Contract in New York The 19-member union cast of Off-Broadway's Tony n' Tina's Wedding will walk down the aisle at Sweet Caroline's April 10.

On April 8 Playbill.com reported that Actors' Equity Association filed an unfair labor practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board against Broadway Entertainment, LLC, which produces Tony n' Tina.

AEA alleged that producers Kim and Sonny Ricciardi directly approached the cast about remaining with the production on the condition that they resign equity membership, or agree to work without union representation.

An AEA representative has informed Playbill.com that Broadway Entertainment, LLC, has now agreed to recognize the equity contract and the cast will begin performances April 10.

The Ricciardi's initially posted a March 27 closing notice (at the show's previous home Sophia's within the Edison Hotel) and later informed the cast that the production would reopen at Sweet Caroline's without an equity contract. The cast has not performed in the show since March 27.

Broadway Entertainment, LLC, confirmed the news stating, "We will be Grand Opening at Sweet Caroline's at on Saturday with the AEU members. They have committed to speaking further in reference to resolving some minor matters next week."
