Michael Wilson, who was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for his direction of The Trip to Bountiful, will be the special guest director of the show — presented by Audi of America and Wells Fargo — which will also include performances from Sara Bareilles, DJ Kiss and more.

"I am so thrilled to be hosting TrevorLIVE New York and proud to be part of such a worthwhile cause!" said host Lynch in a statement. "The Trevor Project is a beacon of hope for so many through their tireless advocacy and outreach — it's an honor to help bring attention to all that they do."

"I'm honored to be a part of TrevorLIVE New York this year," added director Wilson. "It's an added bonus to work with the always entertaining Jane Lynch! There's no doubt in my mind that she'll bring her own flair to the show."

The Trevor Project's signature annual event, according to press notes, "brings together top entertainers, advocates and corporate leaders to support the organization's life-saving, life-affirming work for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth in crisis."

Cindy McCain will be honored at the event with the Trevor Hero Award, to be presented by her daughter Meghan McCain. Openly gay mountaineer Cason Crane will be honored with the Trevor Youth Innovator Award, and Wells Fargo will be honored with the Trevor 20/20 Visionary Award.
