Beginning Sept. 9, PlayLabs will be held on four consecutive Mondays at the Lucille Lortel Theatre at 7 PM.

Actors currently scheduled to appear in the readings include Tony nominee Jeremy Shamos, Patch Darragh, Brett Donaldson, Maxwell Hamilton, Rachel Lee, Christopher McLinden, Deirdre O'Connell and Shannon Sullivan.

Audiences at MCC's PlayLabs have the opportunity to participate in post-show conversations that aid in the development of the work as well as attend a wine reception with actors and the creative team following all activities.

Participating playwrights are selected from MCC's Playwrights' Coalition, now in its 13th year of offering writers the resources and support necessary to help conceive, develop and present their work to a New York audience. The program offers an emphasis on roundtable readings and intensive script analysis.

Alums of the program include early works by Pulitzer Prize finalist Adam Rapp and Tony nominee Stephen Adly Guirgus. The lineup at a glance follows:
