Broadway News Tony Nominee Laura Bell Bundy Is Pregnant The original star of Broadway’s Legally Blonde announced that she and husband Thom Hinkle are expecting.

Laura Bell Bundy announced on her Instagram that she and husband Thom Hinkle are expecting a baby boy, due May 31.

Hinkle and Bundy wed June 3, 2017, at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia California. The Broadway star and TBS’ EVP of Original Programming had been together for four years.

Bundy made her Broadway debut in Hairspray, originating the role of Amber Von Tussle. She played Glinda in Broadway’s Wicked and later originated the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical, for which she earned a Tony nomination and Drama Desk nomination. Bundy also played Elle in the national tour of the show and directed the show regionally.

She originated the role of Trixie Norton in the world-premiere musical The Honeymooners at Paper Mill Playhouse, and organized the benefit concert Double Standards, featuring Broadway leading women like Sara Bareilles, Denée Benton, and more. She has been working consistently in television, with recurring and regular roles on shows like How I Met Your Mother, Anger Management, Hart of Dixie, and Good Behavior. She recently played Columbia in American Gods.
