On November 7, stars will gather in a tribute concert to singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. Produced by TWEED Theaterworks, performers will honor the nine-time Grammy winner by performing songs from her catalog to raise money for Howl! Emergency Help Project (HELP), administered by The Actors Fund.
The lineup includes Playbill travel cruise alums Charles Busch and Melissa Errico, as well as David Cale, Michael Cavadias, Natalie Douglas, Julian Fleisher, Rachelle Garniez, Annie Golden, Tom Judson, John Kelly, Storm Lee, Carol Lipnik, David Ilku, Matthew Dean Marsh, Tracy Stark, Amber Martin, Nellie McKay, Sidney Meyer, Michael Musto, Poor Baby Bree, Molly Pope, Iris Rose, Dudley Saunders, and surprise guests.
HELP provides emergency financial assistance and social service support to artists who have participated in the annual HOWL! Festival or who made or make their careers in New York City’s East Village and Lower East Side arts communities. The concert will take place at The Cutting Room in downtown Manhattan; tickets start at $20.
