Tony nominee Fontana (Cinderella) and Tony nominee Shalhoub (Golden Boy) will both star as legendary writer-director Hart at different stages of his life in the Lincoln Center Theater production that will begin performances March 20 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. The stage production of Act One is written and directed by James Lapine.
The 7 PM event will include Fontana and Shalhoub reading excerpts from Hart's book. The late playwright's son, Christopher Hart, will also read selections from the book. A signing will follow.
"Act One" was recently reprinted by St. Martin's Press, featuring the new show poster by James McMullan as its cover art.
