News Tony Sheldon, Alyse Alan Louis, Larkin Bogan and More Will Join Sam Willmott for Free Concert at the York Tony Sheldon, a Tony Award nominee for Priscilla Queen of the Desert, is among the artists who will join Fred Ebb Award-winning composer-lyricist Sam Willmott for The Songs of Sam Willmott April 8 at the York Theatre at Saint Peter's.

Directed by Sam Pinkleton with musical direction by Matt Aument, the free concert — a showcase of Willmott's work — is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM.

Presented by the Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the York Theatre Company, the concert will also feature Etai BenShlomo (Wicked), Griffin Birney (Fun Home at the Public), Larkin Bogan (Hair), Alyse Alan Louis (Mamma Mia!), Grace McLean (The Last Goodbye at the Williamstown Theatre Festival), Matthew Schechter (Newsies, Mary Poppins) and Sam Teldaldi.

The band includes Gregg Monteith and Peter Sachon. Rachel Sussman produces.

Willmott's work has been performed at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, the Walnut Street Theatre, 54 Below, Joe's Pub at the Public Theater and The York Theatre, among others. His work includes Standardized Testing - The Musical!!!!, the mini-musical Scarlet Takes a Tumble and Yo, Vikings! (with lyricist Marcus Stevens).
