News Tony Winner Parker to Talk Music and Poetry with Adams at NYPL Tony Award-winning actress Mary-Louise Parker will interview rocker Ryan Adams as part of "LIVE from the NYPL" on Sept. 25.

As part of the 6 PM New York Public Library event, Parker (Hedda Gabler, Dead Man's Cell Phone) will speak with the prolific rocker whose albums include "Love Is Hell," "Jacksonville," "City Nights," "Easy Tiger," "Heartbreaker" and "Gold." Adams will also discuss his book "HelloSunshine." Parker earned a Tony Award for her work in the Broadway production of Proof. She received a Tony nomination for Reckless, and has also appeared in Hedda Gabler, Bus Stop, Prelude to a Kiss, Communicating Doors and How I Learned to Drive. She received a Golden Globe Award for her performance in the Showtime series "Weeds." Her screen roles include "Saved!," "Boys on the Side," "Angels in America," "Fried Green Tomatoes" and "The West Wing."
