The acclaimed singing actress plays the intimate venue Feb. 7 at 7 PM and Feb. 8-9 at 8:30 PM.
"In this zany musical evening, custom fashioned for 54 Below," press notes state, "Feldshuh revisits the 1970s when she first came to Studio 54, while also inhabiting a gallery of hilarious characters, ages 8 to 80, ranging from radio host Sylvia Chronic to socialite Muffy Brooke Asthma Alsop."
Attendees can expect to hear songs by Leonard Bernstein, The Gershwins, Dar Williams and Craig Carnelia. She is joined by Broadway’s Jesse Kissel on piano.
For her work on the New York stage, which includes, among many others, Golda’s Balcony, Irena’s Vow, Yentl and Lend Me a Tenor, Feldshuh is the recipient of four Tony nominations, four Drama Desk Awards, four Outer Critics Circle Awards, the Obie, the Theatre World Award and the Lucille Lortel Award.
