Variety contributor Ali Jaafar interviewed the stage and screen actor, who is known for his roles in "The English Patient," "In Bruges" and "Schindler's List." Fiennes also discussed his work for the stage, including his Tony-winning performance in Hamlet, as well as his roles in Faith Healer, Ivanov, God of Carnage, Oedipus and The Talking Cure. The event was part of the Times British Film Institute's 52nd annual Film Festival.
Fiennes' most recent New York appearance was in the Lincoln Center Festival production of Gate/Beckett, presented in association with the Gate Theater of Dublin. His forthcoming film "The Reader," featuring a screenplay by David Hare, is aiming for a January 2009 release.
