News Victor Garber Joins Acting Co.'s NY Reading of The Guardsman Dec. 14 Victor Garber has joined the star-studded cast of The New York-based Acting Company's Salon Series reading of Ferenc Molnar's The Guardsman. He will team with Jayne Atkinson (Ivanov ) and Rene Auberjonois (City of Angels ), under the direction of Scott Ellis (1776 ).

Victor Garber has joined the star-studded cast of The New York-based Acting Company's Salon Series reading of Ferenc Molnar's The Guardsman. He will team with Jayne Atkinson (Ivanov ) and Rene Auberjonois (City of Angels ), under the direction of Scott Ellis (1776 ).

The Guardsman, about an actor who tests his wife's fidelity by assuming another identity, was the play in which Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne first acted together.

Garber's Broadway credits include Art, Lend Me A Tenor and Arcadia.

Smash (Jan. 11, 1999), playwright Jeffrey Hatcher's (Scotland Road ) adaptation of Shaw's comic novel "An Unsocial Socialist." John Rando directs.
The Truth About Blayds (Jan. 24) by A.A. Milne, directed by John Miller-Stephany, starring Frances Conroy (The Ride Down Mt. Morgan, The Little Foxes ).

Easy Virtue (Feb. 8) by Noel Coward, starring Lisa Banes under the direction of Maria Aitken.
