Casting has been announced for Kneehigh’s touring production of its earlier hit, Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs), which will launch at London's Lyric Hammersmith May 23 for a four-week run. The Lyric Hammersmith has released a new trailer for the production; take a look above.
Written by Carl Grose with an original score by Charles Hazelwood and direction by Kneehigh Artistic Director Mike Shepherd, Dead Dog in a Suitcase is a radical re-working of John Gay’s satire The Beggar’s Opera.
The ensemble includes Rina Fatania, Georgia Frost, James Gow, Angela Hardie, Martin Hyder, Dave Johnzy, Giles King, Patrycja Kujawska, Lucy Rivers, Alex Lupo, Dominic Marsh, Beverly Rudd, Sarah Wright, and Tim Dalling.
