News Waterston Hosts "New 42 Follies" with Broadway's Danieley, Mazzie and More Sam Waterston will host a one-night-only benefit revue entitled "New 42 Follies" that will feature performances by such Broadway stars as Orfeh, Jason Danieley, Marin Mazzie, Beth Leavel, Barbara Walsh and Josh Strickland.

The May 21 event casts "stars from current Broadway hits that have rehearsed at the New 42nd Street Studios" for the event at the New Victory Theater.

"New 42 Follies" will be comprised of musical numbers from popular shows. Performers will include Curtains' Jason Danieley, The Drowsy Chaperone's John Glover and Beth Leavel, Monty Python's Spamalot's Marin Mazzie, Legally Blonde's Orfeh, Tarzan's Josh Strickland, Company's Barbara Walsh and cast members from The Color Purple and Coram Boy.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit such New 42nd Street's projects as the New Victory Theater (and its arts education programs), the New 42nd Street Studios and The Duke on 42nd Street.

Broadway producer Bob Boyett and director-choreographer Susan Stroman serve as the Gala Chairs for the dinner and performance.

Tickets ($1,000, $1,500 and $2,500) and tables ($10,000, $15,000 and $25,000) for "New 42 Follies" at the New Victory, 209 West 42nd Street, are available by calling Melissa Kalt at (646) 223-3082. Mezzanine seats (which include admittance to the pre-performance cocktail reception) are set at $100, and a limited number of performance-only balcony seats are also available at $25.
