The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District have issued the following traffic alert for the theatre district: On Saturday, July 8:
• From 8 PM - Noon Sunday, July 9
West 41 Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues will be closed to vehicles for subway construction.
On Sunday, July 9:
• From 11 AM - 6 PM, Avenue of Americas will be closed from West 42 to West 57 Street due to the USO Summerfest.
• From 8 AM to 6 PM, West 43 Street between Seventh Ave. and Broadway will be closed during crane operations. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
• From 8 AM to 6 PM, two lanes will be open on Broadway between W. 45 Street and W. 46 Street during crane operations.
