News Weiss and Davis Will Sing Kooman-Dimond Songs Jan. 28; Rigazzi Directs The songs of Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond will be presented Jan. 28 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within the West Bank Cafe on West 42nd Street.

The 9:30 PM performance, entitled Out of Our Heads, will feature the talents of Natalie Weiss (Ever After: A Cinderella Story) and Anderson Davis (Les Miserables, High School Musical). Daniel Rigazzi directs. Expect songs of "love, loss, stalkers, and candy bars," according to a press release. Evan Katz produces.

Kooman and Dimond met while students at Carnegie Mellon University. Their most recent musical, Dani Girl, was workshopped at the Kennedy Center's New Visions/New Voices Festival, American Conservatory Theatre, the ASCAP/Disney Musical Theater Workshop, CAP-21 and was recently awarded the KC/ACTF Musical Theatre Award. The duo's song cycle, Homemade Fusion, has been produced at CMU, the Pittsburgh CLO's Late Night Cabaret and the Zipper Theater, among other venues.
